Dashboard

The Dashboard is the landing page after sign-in. It’s a per-organization snapshot: every panel reflects the organization shown in the sidebar switcher.

NDWeb Dashboard for ocp-detroit showing counts, recent tasks, profile, and device status

Counts strip (top row) Four tiles show the headline numbers for the active organization — devices (with how many are enabled vs. pending approval), organizational units, templates, and snippets. Each tile is a shortcut: click it to jump to the matching section.

Recent Tasks (middle-left) The five most recent control-plane tasks (sync, restart, run, backup, plugin install, etc.), each with its outcome icon, type, target device, and how long ago it ran. View all opens the full Tasks page.

Profile (middle-right) Your account name and status, plus every organization you belong to with the role you have in each one. The active organization matches the sidebar switcher. Other rows are clickable shortcuts that switch the app to that organization.

Device Status Overview (bottom-left) A traffic-light view of devices in the active organization, broken into Enabled (provisioned and reachable), Pending (awaiting admin approval), and Disabled (administratively turned off). Use this to spot devices that need attention without leaving the dashboard.

Sync Drift Overview (bottom-right) A summary of the drift status across all devices in the active organization. Each drift state — In Sync, Drift, Never Synced, Unknown, and Error — is shown with a count. A non-zero Drift count means one or more devices have had their running configuration changed outside of NetDefense since the last sync. Click the card to jump to the Synchronize page filtered to those devices.

  • Switch organizations using either the sidebar switcher (top-left) or the Organizations card on the right.
  • Open the Devices, OUs, Templates, or Snippets sections by clicking the corresponding count tile.
  • Jump to a recent task’s detail page by clicking its row in Recent Tasks.
  • Open the profile menu (avatar at the bottom-left of the sidebar) for Settings and Sign Out.

The Dashboard does not let you make changes — it’s a read-only summary. Every actionable area has its own dedicated page.
