NDAgent
The NetDefense plugin for OPNsense connects the device to the NetDefense control plane:
- Remote configuration — apply firewall rules, aliases, and other settings pushed from NetDefense
- Status reporting — keep the device’s online state and basic telemetry visible in the dashboard
- Secure transport — outbound-only, TLS-encrypted WebSocket to the NetDefense servers
- Standard updates — the plugin ships through OPNsense’s regular package system
